Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. She is currently the president of president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA's majority owners. Buss is the daughter of a California born and raised in a wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father was a successful entrepreneur with a real estate business who later eventually became the proprietor of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. Their relationship ended in 1972 and she began to feel like she was left behind. As a 19-year-old, she took over management of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as General Manager. She then founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She also served as head of the Great Western Forum before assuming the duties of the vice-president of the Lakers. Buss was the father of her deceased father in 2013, which is when the Lakers were acquired by her and five of her siblings by way of the trust. Every sibling was entitled to equally many votes. She assumed her duties as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-owner of Women of Wrestling, a professional wrestling promotion with headquarters within Los Angeles.
