The Whitney album released in 1987 which featured the songs that I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to continue her popularity. However, it was The Bodyguard of 1992 that turned her into one of the biggest-selling performers in the history of music. Although the film was not very well received, nor did her performance, the music of the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You reached the number one spot on both the albums and singles charts in the United States for months. The album sold over 44 million copies. In the same year she gave birth to her daughter Bobbi Brown, she got married to Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group.
