Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. Her talent was recognized by an agent, who advised her on her profession choice within the world of entertainment. The university she attended dropped her after much consideration to pursue the career path of entertainment. In the film "Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror", she made her acting debut, and was disappointed in the end. She worked hard to hone her acting skills and was in numerous films with low budgets to show her abilities. The perseverance and determination resulted in a successful outcome. The career of her acting began after she received fame, positive reviews and appreciation for her part as a character in Training Day. Her most popular films include 2 Fast and Furious, the Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans, and Holy Motors.
